Spring has sprung!

Pronunciation: /sprɪŋ/
noun
  • the season after winter and before summer, in which vegetation begins to appear, in the northern hemisphere from March to May and in the southern hemisphere from September to November: in spring the garden is a feast of blossom [as modifier]: spring rain
  • Astronomy the period from the vernal equinox to the summer solstice
Spring and "springtime" refer to the season, and broadly to ideas of rebirth, renewal and regrowth.

It has been a long time since the last time I wrote... I was busy taking care of my self and washing those winter blues away.

Outside the weather is finally beautiful. The spring flowers welcome me happily, as mother nature starts dressing her winter naked branches with head spinning, naive but playful flowers. My soul and body could awaken stretching herself, breathing fresh air into my lungs and answer this pretty awakening, however, it is not the case this year.

Usually every beginning of spring I feel a bit tired and sleepy, but this year this feeling makes itself more distinctive than ever. I haven't been feeling my self nowadays. I can't wake up, I can't concentrate, I can't be creative, I don't want to do anything. I just want to sit alone in my cave and forget about the rest. Don't get me wrong I have never been the depressive, melancholic type so, I have been searching for reasons in the spider webbed corners of my head but strangely everything seems to be in order.

Searching for the reasons got me popping my little balloon of security and look at the outside world from a wider angle;

If the mighty spring is the season of rebirth and rejuvenation, the quantity of the energy it releases is so big, fresh and powerful that we (the city pets) can't handle it.

All living things need a little stretch after a long, deep winter sleep and deserve an early notification for the fresh energy festival. Mother nature starts sending invitations on mid February with the birth of the first lambs and blooming of the pretty edelweisses and crocuses reaching to kiss the sun, erupting from the melting snow. I am very sorry to say that mother nature's sublime ritual of early notice don't reach to us city pets! Even some of us want to R.S.V.P., we don't get to be the V.I.P. in this party living in the city. After February the nature lets her hair down, playing with it until summer begins. The party in the nature starts in early April, with a slow motion wild colored fireworks of blooming flowers on green meadows and flower juice sipping drunk bugs, while us, city pets, gaze and wonder, scratching our bed hair feeling sleepier than ever, how we didn't get informed. We are so pathetic, we think when the sun comes up, shining oh-so bright  that every living cell wants a sip of that fresh UV., is the notice for spring. That my friends is just a short circuit for our city body system, nothing more.

To repair my circuits for this season, I am going to get help from some of my favorite artists, who have a way better awareness than of us all; Antonio Vivaldi, Vincent Van Gogh, Alphonse Mucha and of course the master of all masters, source of energy; mother nature. From now on I am fixing my bed hair, washing my face and jumping into the party where I belong, looking fresher than ever.

I suggest you do the same...

Van Gogh - Blossoming Almond Tree

Van Gogh - Irises

Mucha - Printemps

And a Fox is Born!

Hello everyone,

Last month I have decided to stack up my thoughts, the things I wanted to do, I like and I see. Therefore, I started keeping a wishlist book where I write all kinds of ideas that came to my mind. After a short while I realized these ideas and the process of achieving them is the primitive way of writing a blog. So here I am!

As I decided to write a blog I had to pick out a perfect name for it. "Foxhour" phrase goes back to my childhood. As a child I used to travel a lot with my family. In those trips as the day comes to an end, just before the pretty sunset, me and my brother's heart would pound with a little game we used to play with my dad. The game didn't have a name, we would impatiently ask my dad "Is it fox hour yet? ", he would check his watch, check the sun and the wind and say, " Hmm, in about 10 to 15 minutes". As he finishes his sentence my brother and I would start looking for that pretty silhouette. As your doubt would have guessed after those 10 to 15 minutes a fox would magically appear by the road we are passing.

This still remains an unsolved mystery in my life. Being so struck with this charm, right at fox hour the foxes will be running wild in my head and I will be sharing my little 2 cents with the world!

So welcome to my world!
