Fall and croissants....

Hi!
It's fall again... The warm balmy days of summer are almost gone and every morning seems to get darker and darker at the early hour I wake up. (6:00am*sigh*) I've always been a summer kind of girl so whenever days get shorter and storks start to travel, my heart sinks and falls to my stomach like a shed leaf of a branch... Oh well... Nowadays I try to pick my self up by making stuff... As I was going through "what to wear this fall" pages, I came across with the season's trend: Slippers!
They are everywhere and I think I want every color there is...

Can they get any cuter? They are here by the way...

About trends, I have this psychotic thing that if everybody starts wearing literally the same thing, I feel nauseous... To avoid this crisis this winter I've decided to create my own...

There's just something about fall and warm pastry, so I took a pair of croissants and a pair of black loafers (which I found in Zara) and combined the two fall hits!

I've never tried embroidery before but I can assure you it's nothing to be scared of... I had gold and orange beads laying around the house so I got busy... The adorable croissant shape and idea of the croissant came from  here by the way....

As doubt might have guessed the croissants on the right are my croissants...

I've been thinking  about other cool shapes too... any ideas? Where else can these fun patches could be used??
Ta taaa..
